Duncan James

I am a pianist, composer and teacher. I play jazz, with a range of influences including Latin and township music.

Two albums by Territory feature compositions by me and Roger Humbles.  

My film score for Emak Bakia has classical and jazz influences.

 

I play in Heads Up, the house band on Mondays at Off the Cuff, Herne Hill, a range of small instrumental groups, and with singers including Malcolm Connell.

 

Gigs done include Vortex, the 606 Club, Royal Festival Hall Commuter Jazz series, and the Cinema Museum. Big Band experience includes the Hot Orange Big Band.
